Border Roads Organisation has invited applications for 627 posts of various trades. These vacancies were notified earlier and now notified change in submission date and increase in the number of vacancies.
Earlier the total number of these vacancies was 459. They have increased the number of vacancies of Store Keepers to 318 instead of 150. The date of submission of the application is also extended for one month for plains and 45 days for remote areas. For more information kindly go through the official notification.
Army Placement Cell, Jalandhar has also issued a circular for similar posts. This shows that these vacancies are entirely for the retired soldiers. However, the vacancies for Store Keeper have been shown 150 instead of 318. The last date of submission of application at Army Placement Cell Jalandhar is 25 April 2021. According to the notification issued by the Border Roads Organisation, appointments will be made on the 627 posts of various trades like Draughtsman, Supervisor Store, Radio Mechanic, Laboratory Assistant, Multi Skilled Worker (Mason), Multi Skilled Worker (Driver Engine Static), and Store Keeper Technical.
Candidates can apply for these posts directly. The last date to apply has been extended for one month. Now candidates can apply upto 75 days instead of 45 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment Newspaper. It was published in the issue of Employment Newspaper from 20 to 26 Feb 2021. Therefore, the revised last date will be upto May 04, 2021. Candidates holding appropriate educational qualifications can apply for these posts.
