The Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR) periodically organizes employment seminars/job fairs across India from time to time for the employment of ESM in corporate.
Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR) is an organization that works directly under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (Ministry of Defense). To maintain a youth profile of the armed forces, around 60,000 soldiers are retired each year at a very young age. At the time of retirement, most of the soldiers are of an age where they have many household responsibilities, which require them to carry on another occupation.
The DGR facilitates training of retired soldiers with an emphasis on additional skills as per the requirement of corporate and industry and facilitates their rehabilitation through a second career.
The Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR) periodically organizes employment seminars/job fairs across India from time to time for the employment of ESM in corporate. There is also an MoU of DGR with CII and FICCI for this. These employment seminars/job fairs provide a walk-in opportunity at no cost to find a suitable job for ESM.
Employment seminars/job fairs could not be arranged for the last one year due to restrictions of the corona pandemic. Currently, DGR has released a calendar of employment seminars/job fairs for the next one year. In this, the information about the place, time and under whose arrangements i.e army, air force or navy will be organised. However, these seminars and fairs will depend entirely on the state of the pandemic at that time.

जॉब फेयर शेड्यूल FY: 2021-2022
सैनिक पुनर्वास महानिदेशालय (डीजीआर) कॉर्पोरेट में ESM की नियुक्ति के लिए समय – समय पर पूरे भारत में रोजगार सेमिनार / जॉब फेयर आयोजन करता रहता है।
साथियों, सैनिक पुनर्वास महानिदेशालय (डीजीआर) एक संगठन है जो सीधे भूतपूर्व सैनिक कल्याण विभाग (रक्षा मंत्रालय) के अधीन कार्य करता है। सशस्त्र बलों की एक युवा प्रोफ़ाइल को बनाए रखने के लिए, लगभग 60,000 सैनिकों को तुलनात्मक रूप से कम उम्र में हर साल सेवानिवृत्त किया जाता है।
सेवानिवृत्ति के समय अधिकांश सैनिकों की आयु ऐसी होती है, जहां उनके पास कई घरेलू जिम्मेदारियां होती हैं, जिनके लिए उन्हें दूसरा व्यवसाय करने की आवश्यकता होती है। डीजीआर सेवानिवृत्त सैनिकों को कॉर्पोरेट और उद्योग की आवश्यकता के अनुरूप अतिरिक्त कौशल का प्रशिक्षित देने और एक दूसरे कैरियर के माध्यम से उनके पुनर्वास की सुविधा प्रदान करता है।
सैनिक पुनर्वास महानिदेशालय (डीजीआर) कॉर्पोरेट में ESM की नियुक्ति के लिए समय – समय पर पूरे भारत में रोजगार सेमिनार / जॉब फेयर आयोजन करता रहता है। इसके लिए CII और FICCI के साथ DGR का एक MoU भी है । ये रोजगार सेमिनार / जॉब फेयर ईएसएम के लिए उपयुक्त नौकरी खोजने के लिए बिना किसी कीमत पर वॉक-इन अवसर प्रदान करते हैं।
पिछले एक साल से कोरोना महामारी की पाबंदियों के कारण रोजगार सेमिनार / जॉब फेयर की व्यवस्था नहीं हो पा रही थी। अभी DGR ने अगले एक साल के लिए रोजगार सेमिनार / जॉब फेयर का एक कलैंडर जारी किया है। इसमें जानकारी दी गयी है कि किस स्थान पर किस महीने में यह होंगे और इनकी व्यवस्था आर्मी, एयर फाॅर्स या नेवी में से किसके अधीन होगी। हालाँकि इनका होना या ना होना भी पूरी तरह से महामारी की स्थिति पर निर्भर होगा ।
